Kenji Okamura, Deputy Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund, received by the Minister of Finance and Budget Marco Gatti and a Government Delegation.
Today, Thursday 8 May 2025, a series of important institutional meetings were held in the presence of Kenji Okamura, Deputy Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund, and Marco Gatti, Minister of Finance and Budget.
The first meeting was attended by a Government delegation consisting of:
– Luca Beccari: Minister of Foreign Affairs
– Rossano Fabbri: Minister of Industry and Handicraft
– Alessandro Bevitori: Minister of Labour
– Teodoro Lonfernini: Minister of Education and Culture
Afterwards, Minister Marco Gatti and Kenji Okamura met with the senior management of the Central Bank and the Financial Intelligence Authority (FIA) before attending a private meeting with Their Excellencies the Captains Regent, Denise Bronzetti and Italo Righi.
Key issues and topics relating to cooperation between the International Monetary Fund and San Marino institutions were discussed, emphasising the importance of dialogue to address economic challenges and promote development. Such discussions are part of growing international collaboration and dialogue regarding financial and social policies.
